Jonas C. Sheckler is a financial wellbeing counselor, coordinator, educator, and advocate dedicated to helping students build the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed financial decisions. A Maryland native with an eight-year background in banking, he brings practical industry experience to his work in higher education. In 2024, Jonas joined Towson University as the Assistant Director of Financial Well-being, where he develops programs, workshops, and one-on-one coaching opportunities that support students’ financial health and long-term stability. His work focuses on making personal finance accessible and empowering students, especially those navigating financial systems for the first time, to advocate for themselves, build sustainable money habits, and pursue their goals with greater financial confidence.
